Nerf DragonPower Series Overview
Nerf DragonPower is a collection of themed Nerf guns that was launched to promote the widely known Dungeons & Dragons brand. The collection is still rather small with only a few blasters, however the series does offer a bow which is rare these days for Nerf guns. Also, incorporated into the design is scale plated armor which gives the guns a nice dragon vibe.
DRAGONPOWER SUPPORTS AN AGE OLD GAME
Brought out in the design is all the medieval hallmarks of battling dragons, forged in fire as you descend into Avernus. Full disclosure, I had to look that up, but you’re picking up what I’m laying down. MOST POPULAR DRAGONPOWER NERF GUN
The Fireshot is one of the most popular styles of Nerf guns available. The gun is very similar to the Stego-Smash, Crosscut and so many others. It has a single fire mode of delivery and uses a pull handle priming system. Also, darts are loaded directly into the barrel which gives the Fireshot an above average reload speed rating. NERF DRAGONPOWER EMBERSTRIKE
The EmberStrike is a Pump-Action Nerf gun that has an 8 round ammo capacity and is fed by a rotating cylinder. Rounds are loaded into the cylinder from the front of the gun which decreases reloading time. Also, this Nerf gun is very similar to the Vagabond from the Doomlands 2169 series, however, the Emberstrike has a shoulder stock with a builtin ammo storage system. SKYBLAZE DRAGONPOWER NERF BOW
The SkyBlaze is a single fire Nerf gun that has a unique bow-action priming operation. It’s designed to simulate the real thing and it seems to deliver just that. Moreover, the bow will operate similar to the Thunderbow from the Mega series. Darts are loaded in groups of 5 into the front of the bow, however, it only offers a single fire mode of delivery. DRAGON POWER NERF DARTS
The DragonPower series uses Elite style Nerf darts. These darts are the most commonly used ammo available, however, they do follow a distinct color scheme that’s unique to this series.
ARE ELITE DARTS DURABLE & WORTH THE MONEY?
Sort of a loaded question given the abuse these darts endure, although, I would agree with a majority of consumers that they hold up fairly well. Surprisingly a majority of the damage doesn’t come from use but from storage. Over time they will warp and smash down or develop small kinks that can affect performance.
