THUNDERHAWK TACTICAL FEATURES
The ThunderHawk is a single fire Nerf gun that uses a bolt-action primer and is fed by a 10 round integrated slide magazine. This gun has a unique feature that allows it to expand and collapse, changing the configuration. Furthermore, it has longer cycle time and this is due to the size of the Nerf gun, although, it will not shy away from an increased rates of fire.
The shoulder stock and bi-pod are there to keep the ThunderHawk steady and alleviate any stability issues, however, the bi-pod may hinder mobility. THUNDERHAWK SLING POINTS & TACTICAL RAILS
There are two usable sling points located on the back of the stock that will prove to be useful by increasing mobility and shot consistency. THE THUNDERHAWK HAS A UNIQUE FEED SYSTEM
The ThunderHawk uses an integrated slide magazine that has a 10 round load capacity. The mag is capable of feeding in either direction and will accommodate a left or right hand dominate user. It has a front load design which allows darts to be loaded directly into the front of the magazine. Furthermore, this feature will impact the reload speed.
The magazine is not removable and is a design feature that will need to be taken into consideration. There is no question it will add a unique touch, however, it will leave you with no option for additional magazines. BOLT-ACTION NERF GUNS HAVE LOW RATES OF FIRE
The ThunderHawk is not a hard Nerf gun to operate. Fill the magazine and make sure to slide it all the way to one side, left or right makes no difference, it’s personal preference. Pull the bolt-action primer back towards the stock and than return it to the forward position. This will cycle the Nerf gun one time and put it in the ready position. Pull the trigger to fire a single round.
The ThunderHawk is an interesting gun to cycle and this has to do with the design layout. Much of what you’re working with is on the back end of the gun near the stock as seen in the picture. THIS BLASTER USES MEGA ACCUSTRIKE NERF DARTS
This gun is compatible with two types of Nerf darts, Mega and Mega AccuStrike. Testing has been done on a number of occasions and there are plenty of videos that show there is a proven performance variation between the two. Furthermore, there’s a design difference that can be seen mainly in the dart tips.
